I wish there were one app like this that met all my requirements: 1) clean and easy to use hierarchical organization; 2) cloud storage so that I know I can access snippets from any computer/device; 3) ability to add text shortcuts that I can type anywhere to retrieve commonly used snippets; 4) the ability to embed placeholders to fill in at embed time; 5) easy access to the full snippit library from the Menu bar; 6) effortless syncing between my home and work computers. So far I havent, so I still use Evernote and TextExpander also. But CodeBox has replaced Snippets as the third piece, and I find myself using it the most of the three. It doesnt really offer any functionality I didnt have in Snippets, but I like the dropdown from the Menu bar much better and….a BIG and…it syncs across my home and work computers via Dropbox effortlessly and flawlessly, something both Snippets and TextExpander claim to do, but in my experience do not. This is very nicely designed and solid app.
